The Beatles were an English rock band formed in Liverpool in 1960. The line-up of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr led them to be regarded as the most influential band of all time. With a sound rooted in skiffle, beat and 1950s rock and roll, the group were integral to the evolution of pop music into an art form, and to the development of the counterculture of the 1960s.
With the Beatles is the second studio album by the English rock band the Beatles. It was released on 22 November 1963, on Parlophone, exactly eight months after the band's debut Please Please Me. The album features eight original compositions (seven by Lennon–McCartney and "Don't Bother Me", George Harrison's first recorded solo composition and his first released on a Beatles album) and six covers (mostly of Motown, rock and roll, and R&B hits).

Film studio United Artists did, and they centered this album on eight songs from the . record – the seven tracks heard in the movie and "I'll Cry Instead. A Hard Day's Night was filled out with four George Martin-arranged instrumentals of Beatles tunes, which were also featured in the movie. Released: July 20, 1964.

Disc is a numbered limited edition. Comes in a clear vinyl sleeve with a red sticker at bottom right corner. Red sticker is individually numbered and states (p)(c) 1982 Backstage Records Inc.
Some copies were issued with an orange paper insert with six pictures of Jerry G. interviewing a Beatle. Insert states: "Cover picture licensed from: Silver Screen/Ken Galante." Backstage Records (c)1983. Note this date differs from the 1982 date printed on the front red sticker.
