Play Dead will have the crowd doing just that - and then some. A proper, hard techno banger anno 2010, avoiding the trap of those brainless schranz releases, and re-doing the same old formula, but toning the bpm rate down a few notches when compared to the hard techno sound of days long past, he absolutely kills it with an authoritative bass line, and sprinkles it with the most harsh sound effects, sounding like metallic.

Play Dead will have the crowd doing just that - and then some. A proper, hard techno banger anno 2010, avoiding the trap of those brainless schranz releases, and re-doing the same old formula, but toning the bpm rate down a few notches when compared to the hard techno sound of days long past, he absolutely kills it with an authoritative bass line, and sprinkles it with the most harsh sound effects, sounding like metallic bagpipes, descending gratingly on your ears. Damn, the only track which comes to my mind that had a similarly strong and distinct sound was Joey Beltram's banger It Works. As if that on its own wasn't enough, Virgil Enzinger calls on hell's army for some aid in the studiom dropping a nuclear remix of the title track. Incinerate my turntable with acid drenched Molotov cocktails, but dare I say that this ten minute industrial avalanche is the best thing the man has done since dropping the classic Lost Souls a few years down the line. While he cuts down on the aural irritation of the original, he creates a track far more atmospheric and spooky, with tinges of steel factory machinery sounds and rusty, corroded undercurrents. The track goes absolutely berserk at around 06:20...This, ladies and gentlemen, is compulsory for anyone who thought techno music has grown old, bald and boring, and decided to reside in its middle age crisis, manifesting it through dull 125bpm tunes.Grrrrrrr, hard ugly heavy rough & rugged - I love it!
